Monthly Blog #14

 Hey Everyone,

 

As usual by this point, I have managed a steady pace throughout the last month for the Tale of Ælfric series, which I'm currently standing at 26k words. It's at least slightly more work over October than in September, though only by 3k words. I can tell there is still a lot to be written before this book can be anywhere near complete.

Taking a step away from that series for a moment. I have been working on some world building for a collection of stories after I finish the novelization of A New Friendship. It has been done in short bursts on purpose, more so I wouldn't be overwhelmed with different writing projects while still keeping up with a regular job. There's already a book idea I have for the world so it isn't a total blank once I do begin serious work on it. It's going to be done in a slightly different model than my writing has been so far, so there's bound to be more than a few mistakes in the rough draft that must be hammered out before it can be published, leaving for a slightly longer period between publication time. This first story is meant to be more to help build the world itself for more serious novels, though I do hope there are people who'd find the book enjoyable all the same.

News: 4/17/24

 While I have made a post two days ago about The Tale of Ælfric, I do feel like there is a little more that can be added today. To start with as a small addition; I have been doing what I can to maintain 500 words a day for the Ælfric series, which has gone well so far, only missing a few days since the series began for various reasons. That's not what made me decide to make the post, more that I felt I may add that there to keep up some spirits for the people who end up buying a copy of the series and want it to continue. Instead, the news is in regards to another story that I've decided upon, which will be written alongside The Tale of Ælfric. So far this other story has no name, but it'll be an adult-oriented horror story centered on a small town called Nevermore. I will keep the details short for now as I would hate to give too much when writing for the story began only a day ago. All I can say for now is that I can see great hopes that they story will turn out well for...

Monthly Blog #4

 Hey everyone, To start, happy new year!! Since last month, I've just past the 16k word count for the final Tale of Ælfric series. Though 10.5k words isn't too bad, it isn't as good a monthly word count as it once was (last year, which was at least 15k words a month) and I would like to improve upon this more. I hope I can double the word count eventually as I do hope to get the final manuscript done by the end of summer, maybe mid-fall if possible. As to the short story I said I've written, I plan to have the rough draft to the novel version of this finished sometime by mid next year. I mostly need to figure out which pieces must be expanded upon, most of which I already know, so it'll be the more minor points throughout the story. Monthly Blog #5

 Hey Everyone, So, to start with, as I'm sure for anyone who follows this blog through the direct link I have attached to a few different sites, they've noticed a bit of a change. That is now from a main hub section that directs to here and to a new blog specific to game reviews with the addition to links to my youtube and reddit account for anyone interested and vise-versa. Looking back onto my writing, I have made a little more progress than in the month before, reaching 28.5k words. A few events have taken place in the story since then, but for now I have had the need to go back and add in a few important sections I've forgotten about. With the changes I've been making that's been mentioned in the previous paragraph, I will still do what I can to maintain my writing pace so not to miss out on keeping my intended publication schedule, though that's doubtful I will as the third book that will be published this year is already finished, giving me a year at least...
