Monthly Blog #9

 Hey Everyone,

To start it off, I've reached 86k words. A little less than last month, but still progress. I've actually written myself into a bit of a corner so I may have a few more days at least before I'm out of it and writing more. I have focused a bit on my other projects in that time in the hopes something will come to me with little success, though enough to show some progress. Future writing projects haven't changed either. I'd still like to see the short story 'A New Friendship' written out into a full-length novel to start with. I have been thinking in my spare time what others stories can be written with not too much success. By now, it's safe to say many of the good stories have already been taken. No matter, I still have time to think over future ideas. With book 3 of the Tale of Ælfric series coming out in two months at the lastest and, hopefully, the final book coming out a year later with A New Friednship likely being the year after that, it gives more than enough time for forethought on any and all future projects.

I say this now, it probably will turn out to ironically turn out that I cannot think of any other story to write. Which it something that is sad for me to think about. Of all things, I do want to continue writing. Since I've been trying to write stories for the past six years now it would feel odd to suddenly stop because of a lack of ideas to test the waters with.

Until then, I hope that doesn't turn out to be the case.

Monthly Blog #4

 Hey everyone, To start, happy new year!! Since last month, I've just past the 16k word count for the final Tale of Ælfric series. Though 10.5k words isn't too bad, it isn't as good a monthly word count as it once was (last year, which was at least 15k words a month) and I would like to improve upon this more. I hope I can double the word count eventually as I do hope to get the final manuscript done by the end of summer, maybe mid-fall if possible. As to the short story I said I've written, I plan to have the rough draft to the novel version of this finished sometime by mid next year. I mostly need to figure out which pieces must be expanded upon, most of which I already know, so it'll be the more minor points throughout the story. Monthly Blog #5

 Hey Everyone, So, to start with, as I'm sure for anyone who follows this blog through the direct link I have attached to a few different sites, they've noticed a bit of a change. That is now from a main hub section that directs to here and to a new blog specific to game reviews with the addition to links to my youtube and reddit account for anyone interested and vise-versa. Looking back onto my writing, I have made a little more progress than in the month before, reaching 28.5k words. A few events have taken place in the story since then, but for now I have had the need to go back and add in a few important sections I've forgotten about. With the changes I've been making that's been mentioned in the previous paragraph, I will still do what I can to maintain my writing pace so not to miss out on keeping my intended publication schedule, though that's doubtful I will as the third book that will be published this year is already finished, giving me a year at least...

Monthly Blog #2

 Hey Everyone, To start with, I have exhausted the resources for sending in this short story of mine, so it looks like it'll become a book, likely a short one, which I'll publish some time after the Tale of Ælfric series comes to and end. While it does sadden me a bit to know that it wasn't accepted, I'm, in a way, excited to make it into a book. The idea itself is inspired by the book series Little Fuzzy by H. Beam Piper, and is the kind of idea which could be expanded into a series if I work out the sequel books correct. As to the Tale of Ælfric series itself, I'm coming with it slowly. It's just taking a little longer right now as I place more of my focus into my final two classes. After the classes end, I'll be able to place a greater emphasis on my writing, which I'll be able to finish the rough draft to the last two books by the end of next year at the lasted (I hope).
