Weekly Log #11

Hey Everyone, It's been a slow week for the work. As usual, I have been working on editing the third book of the Tale of Ælfric series with steady progress made each day. I'm still waiting on a response for the short story I submitted. As it's submitted back on the 6th of this month, I expect a response to be coming any day now, if it's accepted that is, given that the general time of response is between two to six weeks. T.R. Weekly Log #10

Hey Everyone, The largest item this week is the first round of editing for the third book in the Tale of Ælfric series is finished and I'll start going over it a second time tomorrow and, hopefully it could be finished by the end of June at the latest. I don't know if a third round of editing will be done yet, I'll know for certain close to the end of the second round. I'm still waiting on a response to the short story I've sent in. There is some criticism I have to my own work, so I can't give a clear point if it's a story worth being accepted to any magazine, and may be published in a collection of short story works in the far future once I have enough short stories to publish a book. Weekly Log #9

Hey Everyone, I apologize once more for the delay in this post. I shouldn't be missing and posts here as I have nothing going on that would cause me to miss making these posts. Although I did miss the post for friday by two days, there's nothing important to take note about. I'm still waiting on the response from the magazine I sent the short story into and still am working on the edits to the third Ælfric book. I do hope, someday, there'll be more exciting updates to post about than this, but that's just how writing is, a lot of patience for a single piece of work. T.R. Infanger

Weekly Log #8

Hey Everyone,  I know there's a day's delay with this post. It slipped my mind yesterday about the weekly logs. There's only one thing that's of any note since the seventh log. I have sent in a short story to a magazine Thursday morning. I won't say what magazine it is right now as I'd rather say after it's been accepted, which is more to say that I don't know if this one magazine will accept the story. For the Tale of Ælfric series, I'm about halfway finished with the first round of editing, covering they key points that I've made note of as I went through writing the book. I should expect, after this round of editing, going over it twice more should cover all the fixes and additions that must be made. And, as for the second book in the series, if my story is accepted into a magazine before August 8th, I'll publish it on the day I receive the email. T.R. Infanger

Weekly Log #7

Hey Everyone, There's nothing too different about this week than last. That is, apart from one thing I don't recall mentioning in my prior posts. I have been working on short stories throughout my time on the Ælfric series, and am close to sending it into a magazine. All that's left for me to work on for it is one more round of quick editing for grammar purposes and to figure out what the title should be. I'm glad to see that this one story is almost in its finished form to be sent in as I have taken a slightly long hiatus on it, a few months to be exact which is the reason why I haven't made any mention in my posts. I won't say which magazine it'll be submitted to until it's been accepted, if it is anyway. There isn't much to be made for the Tale of Ælfric series. Throughout the editing process, I have added a few scenes, and removed some as well, nothing too unusual. I do hope that the series has grown in quality since the release of the first boo...

Weekly Log #6

Hey Everyone, I have finally come to the end of the rough draft for the third book in the Tale of Ælfric series and have begun the editing phase. It should be an easy phase, or easy enough the way editing goes, that I should, hopefully finish by the end of the summer, or be close to finished if not. And, over that time, the second book in the series should be published. With so much to the story already completed, I think I'm able to say, with greater certainty, that I can see the direction I'd like to take for the remainder. To be fair, it's been more a rocky road for me with figuring out what I had to do for this as it simply began as a final project for a class I've had, the plan I had for the story was to follow a different character elsewhere in the same world, yet this project forced my hand in creating the Tale of Ælfric. I do think that I can finish off the story in the right direction where the story I had initially planned could still be made at some point in...
